Stavros Stavropoulos, MD, performs endoscopic full thickness resection of gastric subepithelial tumor. 37-Year-old Chinese male with no significant past medical history presents for treatment of gastric subepithelial tumor. Patient reports epigastric pain for the past 2 years which has been unresponsive to PPI therapy and worsening over past 2 months. He had endoscopy to further evaluate abdominal pain. On EGD he found to have a gastric subepithelial tumor. Patient was referred to NYU WUH for EUS-FNAB which showed scant cellular material suggestive of exocrine pancreatic acini consistent with pancreatic heterotopia.
